Three Warriors tells the story of a 13-year-old Native American boy, Michael, who returns to the reservation to see his aging grandfather. Having lived the past seven years in the tough slums of a big city, the boy has lost a sense of his origins and has little use for the teachings of the old man. However, after several adventures in the wilderness together, Michael learns to value his culture, the "ways of the warrior," and grows to love his grandfather. The film was entirely shot on location in Oregon in the lush forests of Mt. Hood and in the village of Simnasho on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.
